Prince Harry is said to be in the middle of making his big return to Africa to film a new documentary for Netflix.However this new alleged solo project will not include Meghan Markle and is the next phase of their £78m deal with world-famous streaming giant.The Duke's new show is likely to come as a relief to the royal couple who suffered a huge blow earlier this month when they were dropped from their $20m Spotify deal, meaning Meghan's Archetypes podcast was axed after just one season.Following their tough loss, speculation began to grow about the future of their Netflix deal which was also said to be "hanging in the balance" as reports emerged that the platform may follow Spotify's example and part ways with the couple.However, things seem to finally be back on track for the Sussexes with Harry following in the footsteps of his late mother Princess Diana as he reportedly heads back to Africa for a new solo project, the Mirror reports.
The reports came via Page Six, with a Netflix insider telling them: "Obviously, Harry has a lot of roots in Africa, and he feels at home there." The publication also reported that the exact nature of the documentary has not yet been disclosed and Harry cannot move ahead with his plans because of the ongoing Hollywood writer's strikeDuring his previous Netflix documentary, the Duke appeared alongside his wife in their six-part series 'Harry & Meghan'.
