Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'won't have police protection' in UK amid row

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be using their own bodyguards on their trip to the UK after being denied police protection.The pair are heading to Manchester on Monday, and reportedly landed on UK soil on Saturday morning after flying commercial.

It's the first time that the pair have visited the UK since the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations back in June.Tensions remain between the Sussexes and the Home office after being engaged in a legal battle to provide police protection to the couple – with the royals being denied any protection despite offering to pay for it.

They are now having to rely on their own security staff and event organisers to keep them safe at a One Young World event they are attending in Manchester tomorrow, The Sun reports.

One Young World is an organisation which promotes young leaders and aims to bring together communities across the world – supporting young campaigners and representatives to produce impactful projects.
