Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stand firm after major decision over Archie and Lilibet's future

When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's close pal Ellen DeGeneres moved to the UK this month, many wondered whether the royal couple would follow suit and return to Harry's old stomping ground.

However, the pair are standing firm on their decision to live in California, and have no plans to move to the UK, or elsewhere, claims former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond.

It comes as the couple have also made a major decision when it comes to the future of their children, Archie and Lilibet, by enrolling five-year-old Archie in school in California - meaning the family is now settled in the US. "I don’t think they have any plans to move from California," Jennie told OK!

during an exclusive chat. She continued: "They seem to love their life there…Sun, sea and freedom have a lot to offer. Meghan loves being close to her mother, who plays a big part in their lives.The children are settled and Harry has said he now regards the United States as home, and when he does come back to the UK he spends the shortest possible amount of time here before flying off again." While Ellen's move will be a blow to the couple, Jennie predicts some potential holidays for the pals. "I’m sure they’ll miss Ellen…but maybe they will stay with her if they ever come visiting.
