Princess Lilibet's godfather's blunt response over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's US move

Princess Lilibet's godfather, Tyler Perry, didn't hold back when The Sunday Times questioned him about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.The 55-year-old comedian allowed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to reside at one of his homes when they relocated to the US in 2020.

In a new interview with the newspaper, Tyler gave a blunt response when asked how he prepared the couple for the move to America from the UK.

He simply stated, "I didn't." The businessman added: "Meghan is from California. She knows California well. So there was nothing to prepare them for." He added: "But I will say this: what I learnt about mentioning them -because there's this insatiable appetite to know all about them - is that any question that is asked becomes the headline of anything I say." When asked why the appetite for stories about the pair is so 'insatiable', he replied: "You're from the UK, you tell me."
