Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's US love affair 'significantly cooled' after a 'grievance'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 2018 wedding was a moment of great excitement, marking a fresh chapter for the Royal family.

However, just two years later, the couple had left their Royal duties behind and relocated to California. Since then, a chasm has formed between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal family, with Harry and Meghan repeatedly criticising the monarchy - be it in their Oprah interview, their Netflix series, or Harry's revealing memoir Spare.

According to one expert, their constant grievances have shifted American public opinion. US-based Royal commentator Lee Cohen believes that while the Sussexes once "epitomised a modern fairy-tale", their incessant "whining" has significantly cooled America's affection for them.

In an article for The US Sun, Lee wrote: "Harry and Meghan just love to complain. And in America's largely optimistic society, that is a bad look.
