In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing a bit of a conundrum after reportedly splashing out a cool £3.6million on a stunning property in sunny Portugal.The couple, currently residing Stateside, have seemingly snapped up a European haven which comes with the perk of potentially securing residency and, down the line, EU citizenship.This would be a game-changer for the Royals, granting them seamless access through the EU's Schengen zone.

But there's a catch: to make this dream a reality, they'd need to bag Portuguese citizenship first, which means passing a language test.

Global Citizen Solutions explains that the test "tests applicants' ability to use and understand everyday language and expressions, such as talking about yourself and basic phrases you might use on a daily basis".

While a language exam isn't needed for a residency permit, it's a must for citizenship and a Portuguese passport. During an August tour in Columbia with Prince Harry, it was revealed that Meghan is no stranger to foreign languages, as she speaks Spanish.
