While most 11 year olds would probably brand the likes of chicken nuggets, pizza and chips as their favourite foods, Prince George is said to have a much more sophisticated palette.
According to celebrity chef Aldo Zilli, the young prince is quite fond of Italian food, but a classic Margherita pizza isn’t his go-to meal.
Aldo has spoken to George’s dad, Prince William on several occasions, and over the course of their conversations, has learnt of the young prince’s love of spaghetti carbonara. "[William's] amazing - I'm waiting for the call because apparently, his little boy's favourite is spaghetti carbonara, so I'm waiting for the call to go and cook it for him," Aldo told Femail. "If George has my carbonara, he will never have another one, so I need to go and make it, let's get the ball rolling, send me to the palace to cook!" It’s no wonder George has such a mature palette, as his £18,915 a year school gives its students an array of worldly meals - a far cry from the tray bake cakes and fish fingers most of us will have had as kids.
According to MyLondon, the Prince and his fellow students are treated to meals such as vegetable and bean jambalaya, Spanish omelette and a Mexican rice wrap, as well as cheddar and caramelized red onion quiche served with new potatoes.
