Prince George is taking to the skies just like his Royal ancestors. The young prince was seen having a blast during his first flying lesson at White Waltham Airfield, with his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, watching on with pride. The family arrived in style, with a three-car convoy at the Berkshire airfield, which is conveniently located just a short drive from their Windsor residence. This is the same airfield where George's great-grandfather, Prince Philip, honed his own flying skills back in the 1950s.
Witnesses at the scene shared with The Sun that Prince George, at the tender age of 11, took to the air with an instructor and absolutely "loved" every minute of it.
An onlooker commented to the publication about George's adventurous new pastime: "George is only 11 years old but it is the right time to start. The Royal Family has a proud tradition of flying and it looks like George is next in line.
His parents watched George take flight from the safety of the ground but he flew with an instructor and loved it." The Wales family also enjoyed some downtime at the airfield's clubhouse, which is part of the West London Aero Club.
