Prince Andrew's legal team have hit back at US prosecutors after the Department of Justice (DOJ) claimed he had refused to co-operate with a Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
US prosecutors earlier demanded that Andrew be handed over to give evidence for the FBI probe into the Duke’s paedophile pal Epstein.The US Department of Justice bypassed Buckingham Palace with a "Mutual Legal Assistance" request to the Home Office – meaning Andrew, 60, could be forced to cooperate.But Andrew's lawyers say The Duke has already offered to assist the US Department of Justice “on at least three occasions this year”.
