Prince Andrew had a close call when he nearly ran over a dog at Windsor, before seemingly laughing the episode off with relief.The Duke of York was thought to be driving down the Long Walk on the Windsor estate in his black Range Rover when pedestrians frantically alerted him to a black dog that had wandered into the road.
It seemed that Andrew hadn't noticed the dog and it was his bodyguard who spotted the reactions of the people and told him to stop.Thankfully, the car stopped just in time and the dog's owner looked embarrassed as he went to retrieve his pet.
Andrew took the whole incident in stride and was seen waving afterwards. An eyewitness reportedly said that the park was bustling with people enjoying a break from the rain.
