Primary school MUGA reopens after CCTV installed amidst vandalism

A Lanarkshire primary school has reopened their MUGA sports pitch to the public after installing CCTV following a spate of vandalism on the premises.High Blantyre Primary School was the target for repeated anti-social behaviour and destruction over the last few months, leading to school staff taking the decision to close down the multi-use, all-weather pitch out of school hours.However, after working with South Lanarkshire Council (SLC), who have installed a brand new top quality security system the school have announced that the pitch will once again be opened for public use outwith of school hours.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
