Primark shoppers have rushed to defend the retailer's new range for older women that "break the stigma of menopause" after one social media user was left baffled by a new top.

The high-street fashion chain recently unveiled its new innovative menopause range that has been designed to help relieve one of the most common symptoms - hot flushes.Featuring a range of anti-flush technology, cooling yarn, odour control and a temperature control design, the collection aims to help women feel more comfortable and fresh during the day or help aid in a restful nights sleep.And while the range has certainly received glowing praise from shoppers since it was launched back in September, one TikTok user was left divided after spotting one of its tops in their local store, Manchester Evening News reports.The shopper took to the video sharing platform to share the Menopause top and wrote: "I don't know whether it's brilliant or offensive."Many other users were quick to defend the fashion chain's new range in the comments section, with many hailing it for helping to break the stigma surrounding menopause.One person commented: "Thank god the world is changing to accommodate us."A second agreed: "Menopause is part of life, anything that helps is welcome."A third chimed in: "My daughter bought me a nightie and it works have had no hot sweats and some lovely night sleeps which didn't happen before..."A fourth said: "it's fantastic!

Nevertheless, new research has found that over half cannot get the help that they need, leading to anxiety over their symptoms.
