Primark launches school uniform range with £3 skirts and trousers

With the new school year looming, parents will be looking at the best places to buy school uniform. Everyone knows how much the cost can mount up, so it's good news for families that Primark has now launched its back to school range for September - with prices frozen from last year.

It features all the essentials for boys and girls, with a two-pack of skirts costing from £6 and a two-pack of trousers from £6.50, or £8.50 for older boys.

There are pinafores, in black and charcoal grey, costing from £9 for two, and summer gingham dresses, in red and blue, for £5.50. There's a range of school backpacks, with designs including Pokemon, Minecraft and Disney's Lilo & Stitch, and there's a full range of school shoes, with ballet pumps costing from £4, double strap black trainers from £8.50 and Mary Jane school shoes from £11.
