High street brand Primark has sent shoppers wild after launching a new clothing collection that features the faces of characters that 90s and 00s babies will instantly recognise.
The bargain retailer is already famed for stocking retro and TV-themed designs like Harry Potter and Groovy Chick, but its latest launch, inspired by the Powerpuff Girls, is giving customers a real blast from the past.
Primark’s new £12 seam-free sets come in a choice of pastel shades and include the faces of the original Powerpuff Girls – Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup – with the addition of Blisstina Utonium, who was introduced in the 2016 revival of the nostalgic cartoon.The animated show was a household favourite for those born in the 90s and 00s, with many fans picking their favourite character from the line-up.
The brand announced the news on Instagram with a post that’s since amassed over 60K likes and hundreds of comments from fans and followers.
