Price surge at Nando's sparks backlash as meals cost 'as much as a steak dinner'

Over the years many of us have used Nando's as our go-to for a treat lunch or dinner - thanks to it's irresistible Peri Peri chicken treats and delicious sides.

However recently, the chicken restaurant chain has come under fire for its hiked prices. Nando's fans are feeling the pinch after some have reported paying between £40 and £56 for two meals - and that's without a sip of alcohol.

Turns out that now, tucking into its quarter chicken with two sides sets you back a hefty £11.20, a notable hike from the £8.25 diners forked out in August 2021, The Sun has highlighted.

Since then, the price soared to £8.75 by January 2022, escalating further to £9.95 in January 2023, and hitting £10.50 last August.
