Joe Biden has released his first statement on son Hunter Biden‘s 4-year-old daughter for the very first time.

The 46th US President and First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, have released a statement about the family matter, identifying the young girl, named Navy Joan Roberts, is their grandchild. Keep reading to find out more… Hunter and the mother, Lunden Roberts, welcomed Navy in 2019, which is just a short time before he also welcomed his son, Beau, with wife Melissa Cohen.

In the statement, which was posted by People, the Bidens say that “our son Hunter and Navy’s mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward.” He added, “This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter.

Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy.” In addition to Navy and Beau, the Bidens also have five other grandchildren – granddaughters Maisy, Finnegan, and Naomi (who are Hunter’s daughters), and Natalie and Robert “Hunter” Biden II, who are the children of the late Beau Biden.
