Premier League clubs have pushed through a major change to their transfer system. The 20 clubs voted in favour to create a mini transfer window to allow them to extend deals for out-of-contract players - but they must do it by June 23.
That indicates they are still planning to finish the season and will be a major boost to the likes of Chelsea who have got Pedro and Willian both out of contract and free agents from June 30.
Bournemouth also have the same issue with Ryan Fraser and Liverpool ’s Adam Lallana is also set to become a free agent but clubs will now have the option to sign them up on short term deals until the season finishes.
