It began by following a group of Brits who migrated to Australia after WW2 in 1957, risking it all in the hope of a better life Down Under.
In the second series, the group’s adventures continue as, despite a host of obstacles, they fight to achieve their Australian dream - as new characters such as the Skinner family from Ireland and exploitative landlord, Benny Bates, join the cast.
