Predator groomed boy from age of ten and was caught out when mum found disturbing text messages

Chester Crown Court heard how Daniel Sneddon, 27, from Scotland, groomed the victim over a two-year period. The sickening abuse first began in 2021 when the child was just ten-years-old and continued until February 2023.
Sneddon would bribe the 'vulnerable young boy' and offer to buy him things, in order to sexually abuse and rape him, Cheshire Constabulary said. She reported it to Cheshire Police who first arrested Sneddon on March 6. During questioning, Sneddon denied all the offences put to him and he was released on conditional bail.
