A travel ban has been imposed by the German government as they look to contain the spread of the current pandemic. Professional sport teams are not exempt from the rule meaning the clash cannot take place at the Red Bull Arena.
UEFA were conscious that such a situation could arise at the start of the season and identified "safe" stadiums - one of which was the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
Leipzig, as the home team, are required to find a venue, but are up against the clock. A stadium in London has been contacted as an alternative,
