Liverpool could play the first-leg of their Champions League last 16 tie with RB Leipzig in Hungary. The Bundesliga outfit are under pressure to find a venue after the Reds were prohibited from entering Germany.
A travel ban has been imposed by the German government as they look to contain the spread of the current pandemic. Professional sport teams are not exempt from the rule meaning the clash cannot take place at the Red Bull Arena.
UEFA were conscious that such a situation could arise at the start of the season and identified "safe" stadiums - one of which was the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
