A popular furniture shop has closed its doors due to the coronavirus pandemic and £12,000 worth of flooding damage.ABC Beds and Furniture Warehouse in Stevenston has had to close with five staff losing their jobs.Owners insist that it's not goodbye forever, but for now they are unable to continue.A post on their social media page said: "It is with a heavy heart I write this post after taking what's turned out to be the biggest and most difficult decision of my professional life."Everyone in the UK, and most of the world, has been affected by the ongoing pandemic and sadly we are no different."The shops been closed since March 19, the staff on furlough, massive monthly overheads to cover, I've done everything possible to avoid this outcome.
