Police are appealing for information after a man trapped a woman's arm in his car door before driving off, leaving her bruised.
He then attempted to drive at her, officers say. The woman was walking with a female friend to meet a male on Corporation Street in the city centre between 3 and 3:30pm on June 8.
Police say the male and the victim - who was known to him - began to talk, with her arm through the car window. The male then became 'aggressive' and rolled up the car window, trapping the victim’s arm, before driving two to three meters forward.
The victim managed to free her arm from the window and run away, but the driver is then believed to have drove towards the victim in an attempted hit and run. Join our WhatsAp p Top Stories and Breaking News group by clicking this link. The driver then reversed the vehicle towards the victim again.
