Police swarm street after 'disturbance' in Moss Side with two men hospitalised

Two men were rushed to hospital after a 'disturbance' broke out in Moss Side in the early hours of Sunday morning (August 13).

A huge police presence attended the scene along Princess Road shortly before 12.30am, with a cordon in place around a section of the pavement.

Officers had been called to reports of a 'disturbance' outside a premises along the main road and found two men who were injured. They were taken to hospital from the scene by paramedics with injuries that are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

An investigation remains ongoing to 'understand the circumstances' surrounding the incident, police added. Pictures taken from the scene at around 1am on Sunday show a number of police officers in attendance with of part of the pavement taped off.
