Police seize quad bikes near East Ayrshire village as three charged

A 13-year-old boy has been charged after three quad bikes were seized near an East Ayrshire village.Cops took hold of the off-road vehicles outside the village of Catrine following an incident near the B705.Officers took action after concerns were raised in the local area over anti-social behaviour and unauthorised use of off-road vehicles in the local area.Two men aged 46 and 39 and one boy, aged 13, were charged for alleged road traffic offences.A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers from #CumnockLPT have charged two men, aged 46 and 39 and one boy, aged 13, for alleged road traffic offences following an incident near to the B705 near Catrine; three quad bikes have also been seized for having no insurance in place."This is in response to several complaints of anti-social behaviour and unauthorised use of off-road vehicles in the local area."
