Police searching for woman after fire broke out in her tower block flat

A fire broke out at Mossbrook Court, on Kentford Drive in Collyhurst, on Wednesday night. The Manchester Evening News understands that the fire started in the flat of the tenant in question.

They got us out and they got the fan to clear the smoke out. "We can’t get back in because the lift is not working. This is the first time [I’ve seen a fire].
