Authorities searching for the missing Britain's Got Talent contestant Martyn Crofts have made a heartbreaking discovery. A body has been found in a reservoir during the ongoing search for the comedian, who went missing on Monday (16 December).
Martyn, known as 'The Pan Man', had wowed judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon on the popular ITV reality show in 2012. His unique act involved singing a song while impersonating a Dalek from Doctor Who, and it took him all the way to the semi-finals.
According to a police statement released on Wednesday, a body was discovered at Whinny Gill reservoir in Skipton, North Yorkshire, earlier this week.
Although identification is still pending, Martyn's family has been informed and is receiving support. A spokesperson added: "At this stage, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the discovery, and a file will be prepared for the coroner." They also thanked everyone for their help in the search and those who provided information to assist the enquiries.
