Police have launched a fresh appeal for information on sightings of a missing pensioner who disappeared from Bellshill five days ago.
Edward McDonald, 75, was last seen on Carnbroe Road in the North Lanarkshire town at around 10am last Monday, November 29. Officers believe there may have been other sightings on Tuesday and Wednesday on a cycle path near to the close by street of Carrick Place.
Edward is described as 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with short grey and white hair and a beard. His family are said to be "extremely concerned" about his disappearance, which they say is out of character for the pensioner.
