Forensic officers removed a number of bin bags filled with cannabis plants after police busted a large cultivation at a Scots property.
Police first arrived on the scene in Church Street, Larkhall, at around 6.20pm on Tuesday evening to execute a drugs search warrant.
A 20-year-old man was arrested shortly after the raid.Forensic officers in white suits remained at the scene during the night and were pictured leaving the property with bags of plants and ventilation equipment in an operation which has lasted for more than 24 hours.Photographs from the scene show a large quantity of cannabis being recovered and placed into the back of a van.At least 14 bin bags filled with the Class-B drug were piled into the vehicle which was almost filled to the brim.One resident reported a small digger was also brought in by police to aid their investigation following a search of the property and garden.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.20pm on Tuesday, 1 February, officers executed a drugs search warrant at an address in Church Street, Larkhall.
