direct to your inboxA man was injured while confronting a burglar who broke into his Stockport home.The victim, aged in his 60s, sustained minor injuries after confronting a suspect, police say.Detectives have now released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.Officers were called to a report of a burglary on Wellington Road North, in Heaton Chapel, at around 9.15pm on November 24 last year.Police say a man broke into a property on the road and made off with a wallet and a mobile phone.Detective Constable Kirsty Pierce, of Stockport CID, said: “Thankfully the man in the property only suffered minor injuries after confronting the man who broke into his home.“A number of lines of enquiry have been carried out.
