Police are investigating after a man was found with a 'really nasty cut' to his head in a Salford park. Officers were called to the scene at Clarendon Park just after 11am today (Tuesday).
They responded to reports of 'concern for the welfare of a man', a police spokesperson said. The man was taken to hospital from the scene.

A woman who lives nearby said she called the ambulance this morning after spotting the man with a 'really nasty cut' to his temple.
