The police officer who knelt on George Floyd’s neck before he died told him to stop yelling and said “it takes a lot of oxygen to talk" during his arrest, it has been revealed.

Dramatic transcripts from the body camera footage worn by two of the arresting cops which recorded George's final moments were released on Wednesday.

George, 46, repeatedly pleaded for his life as officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes during his arrest in Minneapolis on May 25.

As he was arrested George said "please" 60 times and told officers he could not breathe at least 25 times. The transcript starts when George was ordered to step out of his car by officer Thomas Lane following claims he had tried to use a counterfeit $20 note.
