The shootings happened almost simultaneously on the Las Vegas Strip at about 11.45pm on Monday. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) officer was on life support in hospital after being shot in the head during an incident outside the Circus Circus casino, 8 News Now reported.
It is claimed that the officer was involved in a fight with a suspect when someone walked up from behind and shot the officer in the head.
