Police officer knocked out after 30-strong lockdown breaching house party found

mirror.co.ukA police officer was knocked unconscious as detectives uncovered a house party with 30 people breaching coronavirus lockdown rules.
In total eight officers were injured, including one with a suspected fracture to their hand, while trying to close the party down in Walworth, south London.
Thirty people were reported for fines of £800. Metropolitan Police tonight tweeted video footage of the party, which appeared chaotic with "stay back" heard amid the shouting.
The force said: "We closed down a house party in #Walworth @MPSSouthwark earlier this week, in response to calls from local residents. "All 30 attendees were reported for fines. #Covid19 regulations remain in place.
