A police officer has been referred to Lancashire Constabulary's Professional Standards Department after a clip of him calling a civilian a 'f***ing biff' began circulating online.
A video uploaded to YouTuber Reggie Photom's channel, which has 35,000 subscribers, four days ago has since garnered more than 38,000 views.
In the video, a person recording a Lancashire Constabulary vehicle at Preston railway station can be seen approaching two officers inside, Lancashire Live reports.
The recorder can be heard saying: "So here we have the Lancashire Police backing up the British Transport Police. They're living the dream I think." Read more: Join the FREE Manchester Evening News WhatsApp community He then proceeds to put the camera up to the van's window, bringing two uniformed officers into view while he puts his hands up and performs a mocking gesture.
