Police Name Luigi Mangione as the Person of Interest in Brian Thompson Case
justjared.comLuigi Mangione has been named as the person of interest being questioned in connection to the shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who was killed by an anonymous shooter outside of a midtown Manhattan hotel last week.
A press conference was held by NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, who confirmed they had arrested him on a firearm charge.
He was found with the gun, the fake ID used to stay at the hostel where the vigilante stayed, and allegedly had “a handwritten document that speaks to both his motivation and his mindset.” Keep reading to find out more… He was allegedly seen at a McDonalds in Pennsylvania and was reported by an employee.
Last week, a masked assailant apparently waited for the 50-year-old executive to appear before firing at least three shots in his back and leg.
