Police made a discovery in a 'back street' after receiving several calls from concerned Bury residents. PCSOs patrolling Manchester Road Park spotted two males 'acting suspiciously' yesterday (November 3).

As they approached, the pair fled the scene. The PCSOs searched the area where the two suspects had been before discovering 50 snap bags containing cannabis, which were underneath a pile of leaves.

The bags were of various sizes and street value, Greater Manchester Police says. Moorside and Redvales PCSOs were patrolling the area after police made reports of 'several males seen drug dealing from a back street location on Manchester Road'.
