Police have launched a search for a missing Carluke man who hasn't been seen since Friday afternoon.Officers described 33-year-old Ross Pate's disappearance as "very out of character" as they issued an appeal to help trace him.Ross left for work at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon and his family haven't been able to get in touch with him since.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Despite efforts to contact him by police and his family, no one has been able to get in touch with him and there have been no further sightings of him." Inspector Ross Aitken, Police Scotland, is appealing for information.
