Six teenagers who were arrested outside Trafford College for making threats with a 'firearm' have been released on bail, police have confirmed.
Armed police detained the young males after officers responded to reports of 'a group intimidating the public with what looked like a firearm' on Great Stone Road.
Two cars were later stopped and those inside were detained, police said. The arrests were carried out by armed police outside the Trafford College campus in Stretford.
No-one was injured in the incident. READ MORE: Main road in Tameside shut after serious crash In an update issued this morning (Wednesday), a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said the young males who were arrested have now been released on bail.
