Two men - including one from Manchester - who were arrested after a fatal crash in Lancashire have been released on bail, police have confirmed.
The smash happened on Colne Road in Brierfield on Sunday evening (March 31). Lancashire Police said a BMW M5 struck a pedestrian and then collided with a wall, close to a bus stop.
A man aged in his 50s was found unresponsive on the scene by emergency services. Tragically, he was pronounced dead. In an update issued today (April 2), police said they have since been released on bail pending further enquiries. In a statement issued after the crash, Sargeant Michael Higginson, of Lancashire Police's Road Policing Unit, said: "This collision has resulted in a man losing his life and my thoughts are very much with his loved ones at this difficult time.
