Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward after an elderly man was hit by a car as he used a walking frame to cross the road.
The crash happened on Sheepfoot Lane in Oldham, near the junction with Oldham Road, at around 8.10am on Monday morning (April 3).
Officers said a Hyundai i10 car was being driven east along the road when the man - aged in his 80s - began to cross over using his walking frame.
