Police are continuing to appeal for help in tracing an 80-year-old man who has been missing from his home in Hamilton for more than a week.Thomas Brian Porteous, known as Brian, was last seen at his property in Woodburn Court in the town around 10am on Saturday, March 21, and searches around this area are set to continue.He is described as white, 5ft 5ins, of slim build, with white hair.

His family believe that on the morning he disappeared he was wearing a dark green hooded coat, navy chino style trousers, a short sleeved white and navy checked shirt and brown suede walking shoes.Concern is growing for Brian’s welfare and his family have released an appeal through Police Scotland asking him to let them or officers know that he is safe and
