Investigators are becoming "increasingly concerned" for the safety of Jenny Hall as the extensive search for the young runner enters its fourth day.
Jenny, 23, was last seen departing her home in Tow Law, County Durham, just after 3pm on Tuesday, February 18.Her car, a red Ford Focus, was discovered seemingly abandoned on the B6278, near remote moorland between Eggleston and Stanhope, a day later.
Dashcam footage from a passing motorist shows the car parked at the side of the road.A multi-agency emergency response has since been mobilised, with dozens of rescuers scouring the Durham moors for any sign of the runner.
Police officers, mountain rescue teams, sniffer dogs and HM Coastguard air support are all involved in the search, which has covered an area of 100 miles.On Friday, the search focused on running trails Ms Hall frequently uses between Eggleston and Hamsterley in "challenging weather conditions and terrain", with officials expressing their growing concern for the 23 year old.
