Residents along Whistable Close, in Chadderton, told the Manchester Evening News that the stabbing in broad daylight last Friday afternoon (March 12) was the last thing they would have expected.
The attack left a man in his 30s, who police believe was stabbed in his vehicle, being taken to hospital by air ambulance.
