Cops rushed to Thorburn Drive in Whitworth near Rochdale at 4.25pm after initial reports a man was armed with a gun. But police then received a further report of a fight between two men, LancsLive reports.

One man was stabbed in the incident. His wounds are described as 'minor'. He was also taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.
