Officers have issued an urgent appeal for information after a 50-year-old woman was stabbed at an Oldham property. Greater Manchester Police says it received a report of a stabbing at a property on Blanche Walk, in the St Mary’s area, shortly before 2.30pm yesterday (June 15).
Emergency services raced out to the scene and the woman was rushed to hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening, GMP says.
Now, the force has issued a description of the person who is believed to have carried out the attack and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Following initial enquiries, officers say the offender is believed to be a mixed race male, approximately 5ft 10ins tall and of an average build.
