Police hunting 50 yobs after shocking night of riots in Dundee

Police are hunting 50 unruly yobs following a shocking night of Halloween riots in Dundee.Emergency services raced to Beauly Avenue and Beauly Square in the Kirkton area of the city after the alarm was raised at around 7.45pm on Tuesday.The crazed mob ransacked an empty house, before smashing windows, setting fire to wheelie bins and letting off explosives as innocent youngsters took to the streets to go trick or treating.The group are believed to have chased away uniformed police officers who quickly responded to the incident, forcing specially trained officers to race to the scene.Last year, rioters targeted emergency services in the same area and police had been anticipating a repeat of the disorder this year.Footage shared on social media showed a road blocked off by burning wheelie bins with a gang of masked youth standing at the other side.
