Police uncovered a cannabis farm worth around £400,000 in Salford. Officers raided a property on Mesne Lea Road in the Walkden area last Friday (July 14).
They found around 240 cannabis plants inside, as well as thousands of pounds worth of cultivation equipment. The scene inside was 'consistent with a drugs operation' police said.

No-one was at the scene at the time. Police are now searching for the suspects. No arrests have been made yet. Inspector Steve Corless, of Salford Northwest Neighbourhood Team, said: "This warrant is an excellent result for our neighbourhood team and is all part of our fight to remove dangerous and illegal substances from our streets. "We are committed to protecting the public from these harmful substances and stop drugs operations from running in our communities.
