thugs after a man was battered in Glasgow city centre. The 26-year-old victim was on Hope Street, near to Gordon Street, opposite Central Station, between 11.15pm and 11.30pm on Saturday when he stopped to speak to two men.
The attackers thumped the man on the head before punching him. One suspect glassed the victim, leaving him with a serious head injury.Passing police officers spotted the victim a short time later.He was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious head injuries.The man has since been discharged.After the savage attack, the suspects made off along Hope street off into West George Lane and then onto Renfield Street.They are both described as white and wearing dark clothing.One thug was wearing a a beanie hat and black.
