A man was tragically found dead inside a house in Wigan on Monday (January 27), with his death currently being treated as 'unexplained'.
Fire crews, police and paramedics, attended the scene on Riding Close in Hindley at around 11.45am following a concern for welfare report of a man inside an address.
A man, aged 65, was found dead at the scene after fire crews burst down the door to gain entry. Investigations are ongoing into his cause of death, GMP confirmed.
It is unknown how long the man had been deceased for when emergency crews were called out to the residential street on Monday morning.
