A missing mum and her one-year-old bchild were found 'cold and tired' on a mountainside after being missing for two days. The woman's car was found on a mountain road in Powys, Wales, and she was eventually tracked down to the edge of a ravine on Saturday.
Inspector Jonathan Rees-Jones said they were 'safe, but cold' and appeared to have been in the area for a 'significant amount of time'.
Dyfed-Powys Police dog Max discovered the the missing pair in what was his first operational shift, Wales Online reports. The woman and her baby were reported missing shortly before 12pm on Saturday, prompting the police and mountain rescue teams to immediately launch a search operation.
